"EMM CEE CEE, Bubbly for Me!"

Our 9-Block grid was inspired by the 9 letters that make up the word SPIDERPIG. This design was the first of our SA Design Label awards and our creative curiosity in looking through the window to find 9 Letters that give the wine a personality relatable to the consumer.

Further inspiration was brought in from a Graphic Designer who become famous in an iconic era, the 1990’s, her name is Paula Scher. This wine was created for Woman and By-Design, from a woman. For the first time we let the creativity go beyond our Founder, David Wibberley and onto his Wife, Diana. Diana is a bubbly fanatic and product tester.

Diana was given licence to design the EMMCEECEE and husband just assembled the necessary. Result = Princess Diana has reigned supreme, let the corks fly!

Spider Pig Wines has always focused on ensuring we have good quality wines, showcasing the cultivar we put in the bottle. We find good wines, give it a personality to make it easy to enjoy and share with whomever you wish.

Other	A blend of Robertson fruit and Stellenbosch low extraction the wine ferments in 500L barrels. The wine has spent 12-months on the lease to let it develop quite a lot of texture and complexity in the barrel. The wine has also went through malo so that it gets that richness to it. And then we bottled it for second fermentation and then what we have done subsequently, is to let it became a sort of a Solera system. We have classified it as non-vintage, however there is a reserve portion blended in the juice. A portion of Reserve grapes that’s in barrel, is cross-blended with a portion new production was bottled to create a nice, solid Reserve complexity wine. The MCC has been on lees 40 months by the time we de-gorged.
